Jenna Oviedo, CEO & Founder

Jenna was raised by two entrepreneurs who ran multi-million dollar businesses out of the home, which inspired a career working with start-ups and small-to-medium businesses. After graduating with her MBA from The University of Texas, Jenna led Whole Foods’ Local Producer Loan Program and was an integral part of the retailer’s investing activities. After roughly six years at the Whole Foods, Jenna joined plant-based milk manufacturer, MALK Organics, where she led the finance team through significant change, including: triple-digit growth, opening a second manufacturing facility, launching products into new categories, channels and countries, supporting the company’s largest fundraise, and improving deductions by nearly 9%. In February 2020, Jenna was called to follow her own entrepreneurial spirit to help multiple companies better understand their deductions. Outside of work, Jenna spends most of her time outdoors with her young family, husband Danny, son Elijah (born 2018), son Rome (born 2019) and daughter Lottie (born 2023)

Jenny Remlinger, Account Manager

Jenny rounds out Team JAVE with several years in accounting departments at food CPG and hospitality companies. Jenny has lead accounting teams through some of their toughest, cash-stretched periods; those trying experiences bring empathy and determination to the deduction management process. After hours, you can find Jenny rock climbing or helping with her family’s seasonal hotel just outside of Reno.

Alex Beyer, COO

Alex was born and raised in Austin, TX and has a deep passion for helping others through data exploration. After a year in Central America, Alex returned to Austin and began a ten year career in nonprofit healthcare. It was here where Alex’s data driven mind and creativity blossomed. After a fast-paced and exciting experience working in the emergency room of a leading trauma center and managing a physical therapy clinic, Alex joined local nonprofit, HAAM (Health Alliance for Austin Musicians) where she led the organization's data journey, focusing on impact and value as well as financial planning and budgeting. Alex’s passion for helping small to mid-sized organizations be successful makes her a valued member of the JAVE team. Outside of work, you’ll find Alex at Austin’s best new restaurants and music venues with her wife, Tiffany.

Heather Swigart, Account Manager

Heather has worked in accounting departments of both the construction and medical industries for several years. She has played a key role in many projects that have helped improve various departments, ranging from customer service to accounting processes. Outside of work, Heather loves spending time with her two daughters, camping in their RV, and exploring the outdoors through activities such as hiking and paddle boarding.

Lauren Garcia, Account Manager

As a former teacher, Lauren has a passion for helping others, a love of problem solving and a strong attention to detail. She can't wait to dive in and help clients truly succeed, while forming lasting relationships in the process. Lauren and her husband welcomed their sweet baby girl, Grae Margaret, in August 2024. In their free time you can find them traveling, listening to live music, trying new restaurants, doing anything outdoors and enjoying life as a new family of three.

Alison Martinez, Account Manager

Alison was born and raised in Austin, TX, and spent many years in the local service industry, gaining experience both on the floor and in many accounting roles. She later brought her customer service expertise and love for animals into the world of philanthropy. She spent the last five years at Austin Pets Alive!, where she cultivated strong relationships with dedicated donors, helping advance the mission to save at-risk pets. Her ability to blend warmth, professionalism, and strategic thinking makes her a natural fit for her role as Account Manager at JAVE. Outside of work, you’ll find Alison spending time with close friends or exploring new volunteer opportunities in her hometown.  

Karrie Smith, Account Manager

Karrie offers a diverse background in sales and project management, as well as holding a Master's degree in Life Coaching. She's passionate about helping people grow, build connections and find clarity in both work and life. 

Outside of her career, there is never a dull moment. She is a proud wife and mom to 2 beautiful kids, 2 wonderful stepkids and 2 loveable dogs. Her family thrives off adventure and loves getting out of the Arizona heat by spending time in the mountains, camping and off-roading. At home, she is an avid-reader, constant baker and pilates enthusiast. You'll find her snuggled in a corner to soak up a new novel, at her local pilates studio to calm her body or whipping up something new in the kitchen to share with her community.
